YOGA. Exercise, Or More Than That?

 Yoga
has always been revered as a calming form of exercise, but also a way
to relax one's mind, soul and emotional health. I personally do yoga,
and i see all of these things from doing this form of exercise. I don't
need all the fancy Lululemon clothes to do this, but doing it in regular
clothes seems to works just as well.

Yoga
is mentioned many times in ancient texts and is still practiced today.
It is linked to the oldest religion in the world known as Hinduism and
it is the third most practiced faith religion on the planet. There are
many names for poses in yoga, but thee aren't there to just sound cool.
They actually have meaning and they have a purpose. Each
stance name has been carefully selected and it is still used with these
names now. Yoga may be involved with the oldest religion, but you and I
both know that anything great is always stolen and copied by the
western world. Most things that are great don't come out of the western
world because they are usually a basis somewhere else. Because of this,
yoga is VERY VERY popular over here and it done by many people. Even
people in your own communities go to yoga sometimes twice a week.

Yoga
is a union of the body and soul, and therefore it is more than a form
of exercise that many people still seem to believe. It doesn't matter
which form of yoga you choose to do, because it still has the same
effect as any other style.

So tell me.
Do any of you do yoga? do you feel a spiritual connection while
performing yoga? after? Do you think yoga is more than a form of
exercise?
